     I used "Just One Cook", by Nami. This website had many recipes and videos that were easy to follow.  I chose the recipe of Tenshinhan. Because I thought I could make it. Also, because I wanted to make it with what I have at home. The name Tenshin is the Japanese reading of Tianjin, a city in China. Tenshinhan is a Chinese dish that originated in Japan, consisting of crab balls on rice topped with a thick sauce.

     At first,  I look at several recipes and chose one that I could make with what I had at home as much as possible. It took 20 minutes to choose a recipe. For Tenshinhan, I just bought crab cakes and the other ingredients were what I had at home. Since I don't like green peas, I changed the green peas to edamame that I had at home and cooked it. It took about 30 minutes to cook.



1) Put all the sauce ingredients except sesame oil in a pot. Mix them together nicely.



2) Stirring constantly, put the mixture over medium heat and turn off the heat when it has thickened (the cloudy liquid will become clear). (The cloudy liquid will become clear.) Finish by drizzling sesame oil and mixing all together.



3) Crack one egg into a container, add a pinch of salt and the broken crabmeat, and beat without whisking.I arranged the eggs with a little mayonnaise to make them fluffy.

4) Heat a frying pan with salad oil over medium heat, pour in the egg and crabmeat and stir a few times, then slide the half-cooked mixture over the rice.



5) Pour a generous amount of starchy sauce over the top and finish with edamame (green beans) instead of boiled green peas.


     The advantage of this recipe is that it is a small process and requires very few ingredients to be purchased.

     The disadvantage of this recipe, however, is that it is difficult to get the eggs on the rice well. It is also difficult to control the heat because the eggs harden quickly.

     This recipe came with a video and was easy to follow. The Tenshinhan was very good. The egg was fluffy and the sauce was just right and went well with the rice. I would like to give 5 stars for the Tianjin Rice recipe, it is very tasty.

     This was the first time I made this recipe, so I was surprised to see sake used in Tenshinhan. This recipe also comes with a video, so it was easy to understand for first-time cooks. I also thought that Tenshindon was a Chinese dish, but was surprised to learn that it originated in Japan.

     This project has expanded my repertoire of new dishes. It was so easy to make that I would love for my friends who live alone to make it.

My Golden Week      I had a very enjoyable Golden Week.       A week ago, I made an appointment with Rico to go to a restaurant and a cafe near my house on May 3rd. Osaka travel  We took an overnight bus from Niigata to Osaka. The overnight bus was uncomfortable and I did not sleep well. On the first day, we went to Universal Studios Japan. I had never been there before, so this was my first time. The weather was not so good and rain was forecasted, but it was cloudy and hardly raining. However, it was very hot and humid. We rode a lot of screaming attractions. The thing I remember most was meeting Kitty. The kitty area was pink and very cute.  The most fun attraction was the Haridori. It was very thrilling because of the floating feeling. The other attractions were not so scary. I was tired before the sky darkened and went to my hotel. I really wanted to eat okonomiyaki, but I was not that hungry, so I bought some cup noodles at a convenience store and ate them at the hotel.
